1. Spiderman: Beyond The Spider-Verse (2024) –

Plot- In the upcoming Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, Miles Morales lands in a strange reality where he meets an evil version of himself called Prowler. Back in his own world, Gwen Stacy leads a team to find him, while a rival Spider-group with a different plan chases them both. All this chaos unfolds as the villainous Spot disrupts the multiverse with his portal powers. Miles must find a way home and stop the Spot before he gets tangled in a web of alternate realities and tough choices. (Not a fan of animation but this movie is awaited!)
2. Joker: Folie A Deux (2024)-

Plot- If you have enjoyed the previous Joker movie, you mustn’t miss this one (the title of the movie is complicated though, just kidding!). Joker: Folie à Deux, the sequel to the 2019 dark thriller, takes Arthur Fleck, aka Joker, back into the world in a surprising way – a musical. Incarcerated at Arkham Asylum, Joker finds a connection with a new character, Harley Quinn, played by Lady Gaga. Their shared madness, which the title translates to from French, fuels the story. This psychological thriller will explore this new relationship and the depths of Arkham as Joker’s twisted antics take center stage, likely with a musical twist.
3. Bad Boys: Ride Or Die (2024)-

Plot- Bad Boys are back! Gone are the days movies like these were made but maybe this one last time, we have a treat. Detectives Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) return in Bad Boys: Ride or Die. This time, Miami’s finest are on the run for reasons yet unknown. Expect their signature blend of explosive action and hilarious banter as they face new threats. The film also boasts a refreshed cast with Vanessa Hudgens and Alexander Ludwig joining the fray. Get ready for another wild ride with Mike and Marcus!
4. Despicable Me (2024)-

Plot- Remember the time Gru with his minions were about to steal the moon, still hilarious! It’s the same one with an exciting new installment, Gru, the world’s favourite supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain League agent, returns alongside his wife Lucy, their three adopted girls (Margo. Edith and Agnes), and the newest addition to the Gru Family, Gru Jr. Trouble ensues when they become the target of escaped criminal Maxime Le Mal and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina.
5. Deadpool VS Wolverine (2024)-

Plot- The film’s premise revolves around the Time Variance Authority (TVA), the one we see in Loki series (go watch that too), pulling Deadpool from his quiet life and setting him on a mission with Wolverine that will change the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It promises to be a breath of fresh air for the MCU (So hopeful that this movie will revive MCU, which is seemingly dead!).
6. Gladiator 2 (2024)-

Cast- Pedro Pascal, Denzel Washington, Connie Nielsen, Paul Mescal, Djimon Hounsou, Fred Hechinger, Joseph Quinn (among others)
Plot- Decades after the events of the original, Gladiator 2 picks up the mantle. This time, the focus shifts to Lucius, son of Lucilla (Maximus’ love interest), who witnessed Maximus’ sacrifice firsthand. Lucius, now a grown man (I think they were waiting for him to grow up), grapples with carrying on Maximus’ legacy. The film takes place within the brutal Roman Colosseum, where Lucius finds himself fighting as a gladiator. Political ties from his past threaten to complicate his life further, forcing him to navigate the arena and the treacherous world of Roman politics. Basically, if you like Period Pieces this one’s for you.
7. Mufasa: The Lion King (2024)-

Plot- Feels like Hollywood is on a spree to revive old classic films. The film delves into the origins of Mufasa, exploring his rise to become one of the greatest kings of the Pride Lands. The narrative unfolds through the eyes of Rafiki, Timon and Pumba, as they recount Mufasa’s story to Kiara, Simba’s daughter.
8. Spaceman (2024)-

Plot- Astronaut Jakub Prochazka, isolated and lonely on a year-long mission to Jupiter, wrestles with a failing marriage and the vastness of space. When a strange, talking spider appears on his ship (how do they come up with all this!), it becomes more than just a hallucination. This mysterious creature, voiced by Paul Dano, forces Jakub to confront his emotional baggage and the cracks in his relationship with his wife back on Earth (Oh, It’s a Therapy Spider, LOL). As Jakub grapples with his sanity and the purpose of his mission, the film explores themes of isolation, human connection, and the search for meaning in the cosmos.
9. The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024)-

Plot- In “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” World War II rages and Britain needs a fighting edge. Enter a crew of unconventional soldiers, led by the clever Captain Singer (played by Henry Cavill). This ragtag group, including a knife-wielding Scandinavian and a demolitions expert, are tasked with a daring behind-enemy-lines mission. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the film is known for its fast-paced action, sharp dialogue, and a dose of humor as these unconventional heroes fight Nazis in a thrilling and stylish adventure. Seems something similar to Inglorious Basterds, another masterpiece!
